About Scott T. Young

Scott T. Young is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Management, Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University. Previously, he was Associate Dean for Academic Programs (1997-1999) at the University of Utah. Awards and honors he has won include the Doctoral Faculty Teaching Award, 1994; Outstanding Teacher, U of Utah College of Business, 1988; and Joseph Rosenblatt Award for Innovative Education, U. of Utah, 1988. Professor Young has published numerous articles in journals such as the International Journal of Operations and Production Management, Review of Business, International Journal of Production Research, Journal of Operations Management, Journal of World Business, Information and Management, International Business Review, Production and Inventory Management Journal, Production and Operations Management, International Journal of Purchasing and Materials Management, and the Journal of Education for Business. In addition, he is author of Managing Global Operations, (with Winter Nie), Wesport, CT: Quorum Books, 1996.
